Job Description:
The Director, Systems Support performs highly responsible technical work in developing internal technical standards for updating and modifying enterprise server infrastructure computer operating systems and developing multi-tiered software additions and/or modifications to accommodate the requirements of a consolidated data center. This position is responsible for all servers and storage area networks; client-server applications, databases, and interfaces; the enterprise document management system and electronic reports; and the Microsoft environment, including but not limited to the Microsoft tenant, Azure entities, Azure SSO, Identity Management, all Microsoft applications, and Security. The Director, Systems Support supervises specialists, analysts, and operations branch personnel. Reports to Executive Director, Technology Operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in system science and six years full-time progressively responsible experience in senior systems analysis and programming work, a majority of which must have been in systems programming. Two years progressively responsible experience with administration and support of enterprise computer systems and services and Microsoft enterprise services and applications. Two years progressively responsible experience with enterprise systems databases and SQL databases. Essential experience should include strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and a working familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, SQL/MySQL, IIS, SCCM, FIM, HyperV, VMWare, file and print services, SAN management, enterprise backup applications, server clustering/high availability, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with programming and scripting. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
ANNUAL SALARY: $55,950.00 – $72,500.00
